Tower Bridge WIP 3

The darker areas of the bridge are again taking a while to build up. I'm in no hurry though, just enjoying the process and remembering many times I stood on the side of the Thames thinking how magical the bridge with the city behind it looked when lit up.

    I had a commission in 1983 to design about 20 tea-towels ... one was for London, and Tower Bridge featured. I like Cologne.

    I can imagine your painting seen full size is a wow; it certainly is from the photograph

    Thank you John. Yes, the bridge is certainly an iconic symbol of the city. Cologne is a beautiful city.
