'Time Warp' used for gallery publicity

Its such an honour when one of your paintings is chosen for the gallery's publicity for a major exhibition.

Thank you to the Firehouse Art Center who are hosting the CWA 43rd National Exhibition.

  2. Congratulations! It's well deserved -- I've been following your blog for a while now and admire one of your great traits that is very rare among contemporary realist painters -- you really think and compose your painting to actually present a story, instead of just painting an imagery that could hint there is a story behind it. In other words, it is narrative painting, which is evident in 19th century French Realists and early Renascence painters, but almost a lost trade in today's representational painting world. Not only the image, the surface and the techniques are interesting in your painting, the narrative and story of the painting is also well composed. I have learned so much from you. Thank you for sharing!

  3. Thank you Arena. Yes, I do love my paintings to have some story or message to them. It doesn't have to be the message I am thinking for each of us interprets things slightly differently. I am glad the narrative element comes across.

    Thats great Sandy :)
